1. Be Clean
Personal care not count and while no esthetician or other professional spa staff will complain about the smell of your body, it is much more fun for them if you come clean. If you come for a massage after walking into a spa locations, for example, you might want to do something about their sweaty feet.

On the other side of it is that if you've just finished spending some time in the hot tub or chlorinated pools, you will not smell, of course. But it's a good idea to take a bath before treatment because you are not really going to want to chemicals massaged into your body. Many spas have locker rooms with showers.

2. Turn off your cell phone
This may seem like a no brainer, but you'd be surprised at the number of people who sit SMS while getting a pedicure or disturbing others with a constant hum or vibrate, and the phone rings. You obviously will not be able to relax if this happens to you. Neither will the person next to you.

3.Timeliness is Crucial
In other words, show up on time. What is the "right time" means can vary from spa location and type of service you get. With basic spa, if you arrive ten to 15 early, which should be sufficient. When you first arrive, you'll need a few minutes to fill out paperwork. Arriving early also helps you get the right mindset relaxation. You do not need to stress added that the race for the massage will cause.

If you go to an upscale spa spa or resort destination spa, arrive at least 20 minutes early. There are generally more documents to fill out. You may get a tour of the facility. If you are allowed to enjoy facilities such as a sauna or hot tub, you will want to arrive early. Often with an upscale spa you will be given a robe and slippers and taken to a room where you can relax before your treatment.

4. Convey
Spa therapist not a mind reader. He wants to make sure that you have the best experience possible. Do not hesitate to ask if you want something different for your convenience. During the massage, you can ask for more or less pressure. You can ask for a blanket or quieter music.

5. Getting Up After Treatment a
Respect that the therapist may have other clients after you. Although you do not need to jump out of your treatment, do not linger too long unless specifically therapist tells you to take your time.

6. Tipping

The amount of the tip depends on the spa. Sometimes in a spa resort in the same category with Honor Haven added a service charge. The therapist may not get all of the cost of the service. 15% to 20% is typical tip amount.
