Opera glasses come in the following models, or options:
1) Traditional, 2) Chain, 3) Light LEDs, and 4) long-stemmed glasses Handle.

This option can be combined to form the six combinations of styles. Let's look at each option and see how the opera glasses combined with your personal style.

1) Traditional: Traditional theater glasses come without a chain, light or handle option.
Pros: These glasses are the most simple, and affordable.
Cons: Because they do not chain, they may fall on your lap when not in use. They are not as comfortable as those who have a handle lorgnette. They lack the light to see the playbill for the performance.

2) Chain: This is the traditional model, plus a chain necklace. The most exciting opera glasses have a chain attached to the lateral side of the optical barrel. Some manufacturers attach the chain at one point in front of the focusing mechanism.

Pros: Chain allows you to safely secure the glasses around your neck when not in use, without fear of falling on the floor. Glasses with chain can be combined with LED lights (see option 4).
Cons: No cons, other than the fact that sometimes the chain binding if not carefully wound around glasses when being removed. Chain option can not be combined with the handle (Option 3).

3) lorgnette Handle: When extended, long-stemmed glasses grip allows you to comfortably rest your elbow on the arm rest while holding the glass to your eye. Once completed, the handle easily folds of the upper glasses for convenient storage.

Pros: Handbook helps you avoid fatigue holding glasses for your eyes for a long time. It can be combined with LED light option (Option 4).
Cons: The lorgnette Model Handle need a little more storage space than other models and can not be combined with chain necklace (Option 2).

4) LED Light: The model is equipped with a light allows you to see the playbill for the show. Light emitting red light which is very narrowly focused while pressing the small button.

Pros: This lamp is very convenient when you want to read the program in a dark theater. This option can be combined with all other options.
Cons: Some theaters prevent the use of light as it can distract other theater patrons.

5) One other binocular style suitable for theater Compact Binoculars. This is a more powerful binoculars are commonly used outdoors, but very compact and almost as small as opera glasses.

Pros: Because they are stronger, you can get a closer view of the stage. They are more suitable for a lighter, or when away from the stage.
